It’s easy to determine the purity of silver, copper, silver:copper, or other materials with the HCB-J. Versatility and flexibility are important benchmarks of the HCB-J. It can be operated anywhere with either an AC adapter or internal rechargeable battery, which allows up to 24 hours of continuous work before needing a charge. And the automatic power-off turns off the balance when it’s not in use, saving battery life. With over forty years of experience in the production of weighing instruments you can trust Adam for quality products that offer a range of features designed for a variety of applications. HCB-J balance uses density determination to provide accurate identification of gold and other precious metals FEATURES RS-232 interface - RS-232 bidirectional interface included for easy connection to computers and printers. ShockProtect™ protection - Unique patented protection helps safeguard the balance from overloads. Backlit display - Bright backlit display with capacity tracker to clearly show readings. APPLICATIONS HCB-J Highlights: A temperature probe is included to accurately measure the water temperature in the beaker and transmit the data to the balance to aid in more accurate density calculations for determining the karat value of gold Calibration is effortless with Adam’s patented HandiCal™ internal calibration, or you also have the choice of calibrating the balance using external weights. The chance of damaging the balance with too much weight is minimised with the built-in ShockProtect™overload indicator. Designed for durability the HCB-J offers a splash-proof keypad and sturdy ABS plastic construction, making it a balance that can withstand the rigours of frequent use and provide reliable, accurate results for the jewellery industry. The HCB-J balance is designed to determine the density of the sample, if the sample is gold the a determination of karat value measurement of purity is calculated and displayed.
