This carrying scale is convenient for carrying the digital scale or just storing your scale when not in use to lessen the chance of damage to the precision measurement weigh sensor.

The EK & EJ Series scales incorporate a loadcell weighing sensor and whether the scale is turned On or Off if one applies an excessive load or shocks the platform you can permanently damage the scale. Damage to the loadcell is not covered under the manufacturers warranty and is considered abuse. This is for any brand or model digital scale.

The optional EJ-12 carrying case can protect your investment and lessen the chance of loadcell damage especially if you transport your scale around a lot.
