SW-1X
SW-1X Force Data Acquisition Software is a highly customized Excel spreadsheet specifically designed for capturing and analyzing real-time data from Imada gauges with an RS-232C port.
SW-1X allows real time data from RS-232C instruments to be input directly into any Windows program ? including Microsoft Excel. SW-1X inputs gauge readings in real time and provides a running log of all force measurements along with a chart of the data as well as statistical information including Min, Max, Mean, Median, Standard Deviation, Average Deviation and Variance.
Complete control of the gauge is provided through a set of ?buttons? on the spreadsheet that enable easy editing of the sampling rate, force measurement units, peak/real time, tare and power off.
Other features include a memory download option for ZTS and ZTA gauges only. If desired, the entire stack can be saved to disk, analyzed or cleared. Because all data is entered directly into a standard Excel spreadsheet, you are virtually unlimited in your ability to analyze your force gauge data using all of the powerful tools available in Excel.
Hardware Requirements: Imada Gauge with RS-232C serial port, CB-208 cable, a Pentium 4 or equivalent with 1GB RAM or better, and approximately 100 MB hard disk space.
Software Requirements: Windows XP or later and Excel 2003 or later.

Force vs. Displacement Data Acquisition
SW-2X Data Acquisition Software has the capability to graph force vs. displacement readings in real time (2 data per second maximum). SW-2X is a highly customized Excel spreadsheet specifically designed for capturing and analyzing real-time data from Imada gauges with an RS-232C port. An Imada test stand with distance meter (type S) is required for measuring displacement. The software requires an Imada force gauge, as well as an Imada test stand with standard distance meter (-S). SW-2X allows real time data from RS-232C instruments to be input directly into any Windows program ? including Microsoft Excel.
Complete control of the gauge is provided through a set of buttons on the spreadsheet that enable easy editing of the sampling rate, and force measurement units. All data is entered directly into a standard Excel spreadsheet, so you are virtually unlimited in your ability to analyze your force gauge data using all of the powerful tools available in Excel.
Hardware Requirements: Imada digital force gauge, Imada test stand with digital distance meter (type S), CB-203/204/208 cable, #905691 distance meter output cable, DB-2X Data Button, RA-USB Serial to USB adapter, an Intel Core2Duo or equivalent with 1GB RAM or better, and approximately 100 MB hard disk space.
Software Requirements: Windows XP or later and Excel 2003 or later.
Optional DB-2X Data Button
DB-2X is a simple, compact, two channel interface that enables the user to send measurement data to a PC running SW-2X Imada data acquisition software. Use of DB-2X requires an Imada test stand with -S distance meter, #905691 distance meter cable, Imada force gauge, force gauge RS-232 output cable and a Windows PC with SW-2X software.
Single data mode
This mode simplifies peak measuring tests because it also ?zeros? the gauge after sending the data to the computer, thus eliminating the need to reset manually for each test.
Timer acquisition mode
allows users to select a variable timer from 0.5 seconds to 999 seconds. Start data acquisition by clicking the button, then click again to stop, which simplifies start/stop functions by eliminating the need to use computer mouse and screen to control testing. This allows users to focus on the testing rather than the PC and the data acquisition spreadsheet.
As a visual confirmation, the LED lamp will light up for both single data and automatic acquisition modes when data is being sent to the computer.
No external power supply is needed as power is supplied through the PC. Connect Imada gauges to the data input button with correct cable for your force gauge and the computer to the data button with a 6' DB9 serial cable (included with DB-2X).
DB-2X can also be initiated with a remote switch.
SW-1SV-USB
SW-1SV-USB Torque Data Acquisition Software is a highly customized Excel spreadsheet specifically designed for capturing and analyzing peak and first peak data from torque testers with either RS-232 or USB ports.
SW-1SV-USB captures peak torque or first peak readings and provides a running log of all torque measurements along with a chart of the data as well as statistical information including Min, Max, Mean, Median, Standard Deviation, Average Deviation and Variance.
If desired, the entire stack can be saved to disk, analyzed or cleared. Because all data is entered directly into a standard Excel spreadsheet, you are virtually unlimited in your ability to analyze your torque tester data using all of the powerful tools available in Excel.
Windows PC Software Requirements: Windows XP or later and Excel 2003 or later
ZR-E ZP Recorder Data Acquisition Software
ZR-E ? ZP RecorderHigh Performance
ZP Recorder force data analysis software is designed to interface with Imada ZP and ZPH Series (USB) force gauges to record and process the 1,000 data per second transmitted by the gauge. Each data point incorporates both a force and time value, so force profiles can be analyzed for much more than just the peak. Set units of measurement and zero the gauge from the software. Record in either Manual or Automatic modes. Automatic mode can be configured to save data for both destructive and nondestructive testing.
Force Data Analysis Tools
The recorded data is displayed as a graph and statistics are automatically generated. Zoom into any part of the graph to examine individual data points at intervals of 1mS. Mouse over any data points to display the force and time values.
Further data analysis can be done by selecting part of the graph to generate statistics for that time interval. Detect the first peak for a specific threshold for the whole graph or just a part of it. Compare and align multiple graphs which are color-coded for clear display. Save graphs or export data to CSV format. ZP Recorder offers new tools to users requiring the latest advancements in force data analysis.
Hardware/Software Requirements

Force Recorder force data analysis software interfaces with Imada ZT Series (USB) force gauges. Program, save or import saved gauge programming from the software.
Force Recorder captures and processes 2,000 data per second (not just the peak) and generates force vs. time profile graphs with statistics. In addition to force vs. time, Force Recorder Pro captures force vs. displacement data using a ZTA gauge. Zoom into any part of the graph to see individual data points at intervals of 0.5 mS. Mouse over data points to display their force value.
Further analysis can be done on the entire range or by selecting part of the graph to detect the first peak or generate statistics within that time interval. Compare and align multiple graphs. Save graphs or export data to CSV format.
Force Recorder offers a new toolbox to analyze force data.
