The Chatillon PDT mechanical platform dial scale is constructed of durable, rugged welded steel with a plexiglass-covered dial, knife edge pointer, adjustable leveling feet, and a spirit level indicator. The PDT's weighing platform is steel and measures 12" x 17". Special cast aluminum alloy levers and self-aligning hardened steel bearings with anti-friction points ensure long service. The oil dashpot is temperature compensated, and the head cover is removable for easy access to both the dashpot and the dial mechanism. All PDT "Legal for Trade" models are sealable by local weights and measures jurisdictions for point-of-sale use. H44 Class III models are ideal for internal weighing applications or customer convenience in stores.
